Exit 32 (also known as the Little
Si Climbing Area) was one of the first technical rock climbing areas in the
Seattle area. Adventurous people have been climbing these crags for at least 50
years.
There are 8 primary
walls which have over 80 sport routes. All less than a 5 minute hike from each
other. Most of the climbing is intermediate to advanced
routes in the range of 5.10b to 5.14b.
Exit 32 is popular because
Getting to Exit 32 is straight forward, its only a 25 minute drive from Seattle,
it's an easy 20 minute hike from the parking area, and it has some of the
Best Routes in the state.
Exit 32 is
divided in three major areas; British Aisles,
Greenland, and New
World. The British Aisles and Greenland offer beginning to intermediate level
routes (5.5 - 5.11) and New World is mostly advanced to expert (5.12 - 5.14)
